Homecooked

Today is Wati's day off. But I cooked Japchae for lunch and DW cooked Bolognese sauce for kids to bring to school. 

90th Birthday

Had a lunch to celebrate Mai Poh's 90th birthday. Too bad we had to leave early as both kids had lessons to attend.

Pork Rice

Needed some of this instead of the usual chicken in office cafeteria.

Last week, no matter how we coaxed, threatened or scolded her, she refused to swim to the deep end of the pool without the board or without holding Uncle Adrian's hands. 

This week, it didn't take much persuasion (or maybe she was already threatened on the way to the club *grin*), Evelyn made it to the deep end more than once.

We were initially shocked to see Waze saying the journey home would take 4 hours.. it ended up taking nearly 5 hours!!

Lunch by the river

It was Evan's last day of exams and since he finished early, we took a little drive to have Nasi Melayu. It was delicious with a beautiful view. The water is clear!

Left our ice ball makers in Ipoh. Bought new ones.. which turned out to be so tiny!

Key!

Took a different route home today as we left work later and traffic on the usual route was too heavy. Ended up picking a key.. sigh.. no toolbox in the car and could not remove the key. Had to drive to the nearest tire shop where we found out it could not be patched, so had to buy a new tire.
